First time here and it was a really great experience! The food was seasoned to perfection and the Terry Black’s BBQ was melt in your mouth! Our son who is a friend chicken connoisseur said the Korean fried chicken was the best he’s had (being a military family that has moved countless times, that’s a testament). They served us a cucumber type small plate to kind of cleanse our taste buds, it was refreshing and delicious. Our server was very attentive, professional and gave detailed recommendations (Jourdan). However we had countless servers (to include the manager), give us a lot of attention - so kudos to ALL of them. The experience, taste and portions were impeccable - this is actually my new favorite place! We tipped a little over 22% but now wish I had tipped more.

Komodo Dallas exceeded all expectations! The atmosphere is stunning, the food is absolutely delicious, and everything was presented beautifully. What really set the experience apart was our server, Rhett. He did an outstanding job: attentive, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations were spot on and made the night even better. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, a great vibe, and top-notch service, Komodo Dallas is it. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for Rhett!

We enjoyed our experience at Komodo. The stand outs were the Korean fried chicken and the Surf and Turf fried rice. Although the redfish was the prettiest presentation, they take the meat of the fish and fry little balls instead of leaving the meat intact. We weren’t crazy about all the little fried balls. The Peking duck was served with huge chunks which we all felt should have been sliced much thinner considering the delicacy of the pancakes served along side. They gave us complimentary shots because we were celebrating a birthday which was greatly appreciated. It was some kind of a tequila concoction and it was very tasty. We had much better luck with our service than most have described. I’d suggest going on a week day. It wasn’t busy at all. Lastly, portions are way too big. Although a lot of food is appreciated, it sort of detracts from the gourmet feel IMHO. I’d definitely suggest sharing instead of each person ordering their own plate.

Nice vibe and great service - music Is very EDM (which I love but might not be for everyone). Food was great and portions were a bit smaller but that fits with the lounge-y type vibe. There’s valet in the front for $10. Overall will be back, probably to try the weekend lounge!

Komodo was EVERYTHING and then some! Food was amazing, ambience was amazing, details and photo ops were amazing! 10/10! And with a reservation we were seated right away. I will say, it’s definitely pricier than an average restaurant but it’s an above average restaurant so that’s expected. So nice for a special occasion. valet was $10 which isn’t bad at all.

The moment we walked through the door we were greeted. Customers service has been phenomenal! Our waiter Mark is excellent wry knowledgeable of the menu and has his choice of recommendations. Drinks are a 10! Food is phenomenal!!.

The menu was fantastic! Our appetizers were great. Chicken was a little too Tabasco but everything else was amazing. Most of all our server made it a wonderful experience. We will be back. Next time we will have to try the Peking Duck
